“Sonatine” by Joe Hisaishi.
I don’t believe this is from any of Miyazaki’s films, but it’s absolutely beautiful and since Mr. Hisaishi does the scores for all of the Studio Ghibli films I figured what the heck, I’ll post it.

Piano version of the Castle in the Sky theme =). Beautiful!!
Howl’s Moving Castle theme;
My favourite Hayao Miyazaki movie of all time.
Sophie: I just organized things, Howl. Nothing’s ruined.
Howl: Wrong! Wrong! I specifically ordered you not to get carried away!
Howl: [tragically] Now I’m repulsive. I can’t live like this.
[He slumps in a chair and starts sobbing, head in hands]
Sophie: Come on, it’s not that bad.
[Howl’s hair changes color to purple, then black]
Sophie: You should look at it now, its shade is even better.
Howl: [inconsolable] I give up. I see no point in living if I can’t be beautiful.
lol. That scene is my favorite out of the whole movie =). It’s especially hilarious when considering that Christian Bale (the voice of Howl, for those of you who don’t know) plays an appearance-obsessed psychopath in American Psycho. <3
And as always, Joe Hisaishi is amazing.
